Privacy Policy

ApplyFrom (applyfrom.com) is operated by Hubble42 Inc., Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. For anything in this policy, you can reach us at hello@applyfrom.com.

• Account data: your name, email address and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google instead of a password.
• Activity in the product: jobs you save, boards and notes you create, filters you store, and files you choose to attach to your saved jobs (for example a CV).
• Payment data: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we store only your subscription status and its expiry date, plus Stripe's reference IDs for your customer record.
• Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) kept by our hosting provider for security and debugging.
• Product analytics: how the site is used — pages viewed, buttons and links used, approximate location from your IP address, and errors your browser hits. Once you sign in, this activity is linked to your account so we can tell returning users from new ones. Passwords, card details, reset links and the contents of anything you type are excluded.
• Session replays: we may replay how the site was used — where a page was scrolled, clicked or abandoned — to find and fix problems. Everything you type is masked before it leaves your browser and never appears in a replay; your name and email address are masked the same way where the site displays them.

We use this only to improve ApplyFrom. We do not run advertising trackers, we do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

We use the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember your country preference, plus first-party analytics cookies that let us recognise a returning browser and count visits accurately. There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.

Our analytics requests are served from applyfrom.com rather than a third-party domain, so the cookies involved are first-party ones set by this site.

• to provide the service: sign-in, saved jobs, paid access;
• to send service emails such as email verification, password resets and important account notices;
• to prevent abuse and keep the service secure;
• to comply with legal obligations.

We will not send you marketing email without your consent, and any such email would include an unsubscribe link.

We use a small set of service providers to run ApplyFrom, each receiving only what they need:

• Vercel (website hosting, USA)
• Turso (database hosting, USA)
• Stripe (payment processing)
• Resend (transactional email delivery, USA)
• PostHog (product analytics, USA)
• Google (only if you choose Google sign-in)

Because these providers operate in the United States and Canada, your data is stored and processed there regardless of where you use the service from.

Account data is kept while your account exists. If you delete your account, or ask us to, we delete your account record, saved jobs, boards, files and stored filters. Payment records held by Stripe and minimal records we must keep for tax or accounting law are retained for the legally required period.

You can ask us at any time to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@applyfrom.com from your account address and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in Canada, you may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada; if you are elsewhere, your local data protection authority applies.

ApplyFrom is not directed at children and may not be used by anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

If we change this policy in a material way, we will post the update here and change the date above. Significant changes affecting existing accounts will also be announced by email or an in-app notice.
